Chris Brundrett

Chris, our COO, loves the challenge of making potentially complex (and maybe even boring!) topics come alive in an easy-to-understand way. Each year, he manages the development of training materials for dozens of technical accounting and auditing courses for our largest client, a Big 4 accounting firm. Chris believes in sharing his teaching philosophy and skills as generously as he shares his accounting expertise.

This energy and passion also extend into Chris’s personal life, where he enjoys spending time with friends and family, working on vintage cars, and gardening. As a Virginia Tech alum, Chris enjoys living near and cheering on the Hokies football team.

The Details:

  • Licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Former Senior Manager at KPMG LLP
  • Graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting

Mike Walworth

Mike is passionate about accounting. Not in the “do a research paper” sense, but in the “accounting training doesn’t have to be mind-numbingly boring” sense. He left KPMG to co-found GAAP Dynamics in 2001, because he believes well-done training can transform accounting firms and multinational companies. From designing a Big 4 accounting firm’s global U.S. GAAP accreditation program to helping multinational clients determine the impact of an IFRS conversion, Mike brings energy to everything he does.

When he is not busy, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis or golf, and soaking bait in the Outer Banks for a citation drum. A University of Florida alum, Mike’s most often found on Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Gators.
